Panhellenic Council Recruitment

Panhellenic recruitment is a five day process designed to place women in sororities where they feel the best fit.

Convocation

This is a mandatory event for all women going through recruitment. You may attend early convocation before the Christmas holidays or late convocation immediately before recruitment.

Recruitment Counselors

All women are assigned a recruitment counselor who will serve as their guide to sorority recruitment. She is there to answer questions and to relay all information about Panhellenic recruitment. Counselors, as well as the Panhellenic recruitment team, are here to help you make an unbiased decision. Therefore, they will not reveal their chapter affiliation until the end of recruitment.

Preferential Bidding

At the conclusion of preference parties, you will be asked to rank the chapters you have met. You must be ready to accept a bid by any sorority that you list on your preference card.

Sorority members are required to confine communication during recruitment to events. This relieves women from undo pressure, and allows them to make a sound decision on sorority membership.
