I hope you are settling into the new semester.
This fall, 132 freshman and transfer students have joined our college. Each time I met a group of our new College of Social Sciences students during orientation week, I was struck by the number of them from out of state. They come from Arizona, New Jersey, Missouri, Arkansas, Virginia, Tennessee, Illinois, Washington, D.C., and just about every place else in the country. Continued ...

 A one-time Institute for Ministry teacher has returned as director. Thomas F. Ryan, who had been chair of the Department of Religious Studies at St. Thomas University, Miami Gardens, Florida, was named director of the Loyola University New Orleans Institute for Ministry (LIM) in the summer. School of Nursing Receives an Eight-Year Accreditation
The School of Nursing last year won re-accreditation from the National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission, Inc (NLNAC). Word came in the spring that the school exceeded all accreditation standards and was given full eight year accreditation of the nursing program. Continued ...
