13th annual "Women and Men Take Back the Night"

Loyola held its 13th annual "Women and Men Take Back the Night" March on October 28. Nearly 500 participated in the march that began in the Marquette Horseshoe. The community event, sponsored by Loyola and Tulane universities, is a call to end sexual violence against women, men and children. Emotionally powerful speakers from Loyola, Tulane, and the New Orleans community shared their personal stories of abuse and healing. "Women and Men Take Back" the Night is a powerful healing ritual for survivors of violence and for the men and women who care about them.
