April 5, 2002 Upward Bound sponsors summer food service programThe Loyola University Upward Bound Program is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to its eligible participants free of charge. To be eligible to receive free meals, Loyola Upward Bound participants must meet the income guidelines for reduced price meals in the National School Lunch Program. The income guidelines for reduced price meals by family size are listed here. Loyola Upward Bound participants who are part of households that receive food stamps or benefits under the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR), or Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) are automatically eligible to receive free meals. Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all participants regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, age, or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course if the meal service. Any complaints of discrimination should be submitted in writing to the Secretary of Agriculture, Washington, D.C. 20250. Meals will be provided to Loyola University Upward Bound participants by the Loyola Dining Services (Sodexho/Marriott Services) at the following times: breakfast, 7:30 8:15 a.m.; lunch, 11:30 a.m. 1:15 p.m.; and dinner, 5 6:30 p.m.; Monday Friday.
