Loyola receives $79,500 grant from the Consortium for the Advancement of Private Higher Education

Congratulations to Loyola University community on Loyola being selected as one of 13 colleges and universities to receive a $79,500 grant from the Consortium for the Advancement of Private Higher Education. Loyola was chosen from a pool of 113 colleges to participate in a major national initiative called Engaging Communities and Campuses. The program is aimed at assisting independent colleges and universities establish partnerships with community organizations to enhance experiential learning activities while addressing community needs.

The grant, which will be paid over the course of 2.5 years, from January 1, 2001 ­ June 30, 2003, is the result of the hardwork of Associate Provost Lydia Voigt, Ph.D., Sociology Professor Laurie Joyner, Ph.D., Provost David Danahar, Ph.D., and University President Bernard P. Knoth, S.J.
