A seasoned advancement professional, Woodall's nearly 20 years of fund-raising experience will continue the division's history-making, fund-raising endeavors. Woodall most recently served as the associate vice chancellor for institutional advancement at East Carolina University (ECU) in Greenville, North Carolina, a position he had held since 1995. Knoth, S.J. says of Woodall's appointment, "I am excited about the fund-raising and managerial expertise Malcolm will bring to Loyola, particularly his success in working with corporations and foundations in identifying philanthropic dollars. I look forward to the new leadership in the advancement efforts of the university, and I am confident that Malcolm will continue to build on the successes of fund-raising programs established by his predecessors." "This is a great opportunity to build on the past achievements and work with the university community to increase national and international support for the great academic programs at Loyola," Woodall says. Before joining East Carolina University, Woodall's impressive and solid track record in fund-raising included 11 years of development experience with Carnegie Mellon University and three years as vice president of institutional advancement at Point Park College both in Pittsburgh.
