Heartland/Delta faculty conversations III

Heartland/Delta Faculty Conversations III will be held on campus October 27-29, 2000.

The keynote speaker is Karen Desotelle, director of student educational services at Marquette University. Desotelle will focus her remarks on Jesuit Education Ideals. This is the third conference for faculty from the Heartland/Delta Jesuit schools designed to provide an opportunity for frank conversations on the identity and mission of Jesuit education and to reflect on the roles faculty and staff have in this tradition.

The conversations will have seven faculty members from each of the 11 Midwest/Delta Jesuit schools meet as a group for a weekend at one of the schools. Jesuit colleges and uniersities in the Heartland/Delta region are Marquette University, Loyola Chicago, University of Detroit Mercy, Creighton University, John Carroll University, Xavier University (Cincinnati), Regis University, Saint Louis University, Rockhurst College, Spring Hill College, and Loyola University New Orleans.
