May 12, 2000 Loyola entourage heads to Heartland ConferenceUniversity President Bernard P. Knoth, S.J., and 23 members of the Loyola community will attend the Heartland III Conference at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, from Monday May 22 to Thursday, May 25. The conference is comprised of representatives from each of the 11 heartland/delta area Jesuit colleges and universities. At the conference, three Loyola members will lead a discussion concerning mission and identity. Other discussions at the conference will include "The Language of Who We Are," "The Jesuit University: Are We Jesuit Or Are We University?" "Linking Dreams to Reality," "Called and Missioned," and "Francis Xavier and the Mission Arts of Southeast Asia." Community members attending the conference are: Barbara Bihm, nursing; Kurt Birdwhistell, chemistry; Patrick Bourgeois, philosophy; Christopher Cameron, student affairs; William "Ted" Cotton, English/Honors Program; Natalie Cross, admissions; Mitchell Crusto, law; David C. Danahar, provost/vice president for academic affairs; Anthony Decuir, music; James Eiseman, vice president for student affairs; Georgia Gresham, drama and speech; Gwen Hotchkiss, music; Brenda Joyner, business administration; James Klebba, interim law dean; Edward Kvet, music dean; Cassandra Mabe, modern foreign languages and literature; Patrick O'Brien, business administration dean; Cecily Raiborn, business administration; Anne M. Ramagos, C.S.J., Office of the President; Frank Scully, arts and sciences dean; Leigh Ann Terrebonne, student affairs/counseling center; John B.
