The Loyola community members joined the 11-member Southern Rep company in the production of O'Neill's play, A Woman of Property, during a one-week tour in October.

The company accepted the invitation from the advisor to the president of Georgia on education and science to perform for the students of Tbilisi University and at the Basement Theatre in Tbilisi, the sixth-century capital city of Georgia, Russia.

"We hope that the tour will lay the foundation for future cultural exchanges between European nations and New Orleans," said O'Neill.

Southern Rep offers internships to students across the United States which provide hands-on experience in stage managing, directing, lighting, sound, costuming, and public relations.
