Party honors retiring faculty, staff
Clinical
Professor of Law Evangeline Abriel; Carol Cambon, wife of retiring law
advocate Leon Cambon; John Nelson, law professor emiterus; Romona Almonte,
assistant in law clinic; Leon Cambon, retired administrative advocate
in law school; and Darryl Derbigny, clinical professor of law, are pictured
at the retirement celebration on July 8 where 34 faculty and staff members
were honored for their years of service. As a result of a voluntary severance
plan offered by the university, the 34 individuals were the largest group
ever to leave the Loyola community at the same time and represent 931
total years of service to the university.
