Help Keep Accurate Records

Whether it is a move down the street or across the country, in today's fast-paced world it is all too easy to lose track of former associates, colleagues, and friends. In the case of keeping track of Loyola's 36,000 alumni around the globe, the task becomes monumental.

In an ideal world, we would have up-to-date addresses of each and every one of our alumni. In the same ideal world, all our alumni would notify us when they change addresses, the U. S. Postal Service would forward all mail and notify the sender with address updates and those of us who are really in the know would share information with the Office of Advancement Records.

To keep track of our alumni, we use many sources including the U.S. Postal Service, address update cards, classmates, faculty members, and most recently Boyd's City Dispatch, a professional address and record search company. Unfortunately, even employing these techniques will not assure that our alumni mailing list is 100 percent error free.

In an effort to keep our alumni mailing list updated, we are asking members of the Loyola community who maintain contact with former students to share address and phone number information with us. Please send current address and information updates about alumni to the Office of Advancement Records, Box 909.
