October 3, 1997 Staff promotions in the Office of AdmissionsDebbie Stieffel was appointed director of admissions. Formerly associate director, she moves into the director position previously held by Nan Massingill who was appointed dean of admissions and enrollment management. Stieffel is responsible for the development and implementation of research-based marketing, management, recruitment and application processing operations. Stieffel graduated from Loyola in 1988 with a bachelor's degree in music and a master of science in guidance and counseling degree in 1996. She has served the university for 11 years. Eli Clarke was appointed associate director. He is co-coordinator of the Loyola University Parent and Alumni Admissions Network (LUPAAN), supervisor of the Loyola University Faculty Admissions Network (LUFAN), and the Early Scholars/Early Artists Program. In addition, he assists with the planning and implementation of recruitment and marketing strategies. Clarke has been with Loyola since 1992, when he graduated from the university with bachelor's degree in communications. Keith Gramling was promoted to associate director. Having joined the staff in 1992, his new responsibilities include management of the Local Area Computer Network and Sequitur, the computer based communications system. Gramling also will serve as a liaison with Information Technology and the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, as well as assisting with strategies for recruitment. He graduated cum laude in 1992 from The University of Tulsa with a bachelor's degree in marketing. Monique Irvin has been named associate director. She graduated from Loyola in 1989 with a bachelor's degree in communications. She joined the admissions staff in 1994 and her current duties include supervising the Special Visitation Programs & Events, Individual Campus Visits, Staff Training & Professional Development, and Guidance & Secondary School Relations. She also assists in marketing strategies for recruitment. Amy Broussard has been appointed assistant director. She supervises recruitment and travel and assists with planning and marketing strategies. Broussard received her bachelor's degree from Loyola in 1994 with a double major in political science and economics. Natalie Cross has been named assistant director. Having joined the staff in 1994, her new duties include acting as coordinator of admissions publications and co-coordinator of LUPAAN. She also assists in recruitment and marketing strategies. Cross graduated cum laude from Loyola in 1994 with a bachelor's degree in communications. Sean Wentworth was appointed assistant director. He graduated summa cum laude from Loyola in 1993 with a major in philosophy. Wentworth joined the admissions staff in 1994. He supervises the college Work-Study Program and the Telecounseling Program, coordinates the application process and the university's Faculty Admissions Network, and helps plan recruitment strategies. |
