Safe Space: Creating Cultures of Diversity and Inclusion

Loyola announcement - February 26, 2016

Hundreds of 10th graders from the greater New Orleans area visited Loyola University New Orleans College of Law on Friday, February 27 to learn more about anti-bullying measures and standing up against a culture of hate. The youth summit organized by the Anti-Defamation League spotlights Loyola's social justice mission and role in the community as a center for learning. U.S. Attorney Ken Polit served as keynote speaker. Holocaust survivor Ann Levy addressed the students about her experiences and what can happen in a culture of hate. The goal is for high school students to bring new knowledge back to their own campuses and help to create a culture of diversity and inclusion.
