Tomorrow: Loyola hosts MBA open house

Loyola press release - February 10, 2014

The MBA program at Loyola University New Orleans College of Business will host an open house and informational session Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 6 p.m. in Miller Hall, room 112 on Loyola’s main campus. The event features light refreshments followed by an information and Q-and-A session with Loyola’s associate dean for graduate programs, assistant director, MBA faculty, executives and current MBA students. They will discuss the MBA curriculum, admissions and current strategic initiatives.

Registration for the open house is recommended but not required. Loyola’s MBA application fee is waived for open house attendees.

Recent graduates of Loyola’s MBA program have obtained advanced management positions with well-known companies such as General Electric, General Motors, Symetra Financial Corporation, Shell Oil and many others.

Loyola’s MBA program prepares MBA students for leadership positions to take an organization to new levels of performance and holds several advantages to its peers. The program not only follows the Baldrige Framework for Performance Excellence—a highly advanced systems-based structure for leading organizations—but students at Loyola are also given the opportunity to prepare for Six Sigma and Project Management certifications. Six Sigma is a quality improvement methodology used by the top companies in the country for controlling variation and reducing costs.
