Fall enrollment open for community arts program

The Preparatory Arts Program at Loyola University New Orleans, hosting children of all ages, is currently enrolling ballet, piano, violin, guitar and voice students for the 2013-2014 academic year. Classes begin Sept. 3.
The Preparatory Ballet Program provides quality training in the Vaganova ballet style, as well as classes in contemporary and hip-hop dance. Registration for ballet classes is Saturday, Aug. 17 in room 106 of the Communications/Music Complex on the corner of St. Charles Avenue and Calhoun Street.
Pre-ballet through advanced placement and registration times are:
- 9:30 a.m. – Ages 5 to 7
- 10 a.m. – Ages 8 to 10
- 10:30 a.m. – Ages 11 to 13
- 11 a.m. – Ages 14 years and up
Registration for Musikgarten classes—a fun and educational way to introduce children to the beauty of music—is also available for infants and children up to age 6 and their caregivers.
