Help wanted: Preserve Loyola's rich visual history online with pilot program
Loyola press release - January 22, 2013
Loyola University New Orleans’ photographs celebrate the entire history of the university’s centennial, and the J. Edgar and Louise S. Monroe Library is spearheading a pilot program to document the rich photograph collections of the university.
The Monroe Library requests the assistance of faculty, staff, students, friends and alumni with knowledge and memories of Loyola to browse these images online. To provide specific information concerning the people, places, dates or events within the images, contact Special Collections and Archives staff at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Images are added to the collection on an ongoing basis. With the Loyola community’s assistance, more of the university’s historical photographs will be preserved and accessible for all to enjoy and learn from.
