Loyola acknowledges travel impacts from Hurricane Irene
Loyola press release - August 26, 2011
Undergraduate classes at Loyola University New Orleans begin on Monday, Aug. 29. Students from the East Coast traveling to New Orleans may encounter travel delays due to the impact of Hurricane Irene. Those students who will be delayed due to the storm should email Kathy Gros, director of Registration Services, at email@example.com, to alert the university of the delay and to provide an estimated time of arrival. The Office of Registration Services will notify those students' professors of the delay to avoid any penalty. Further questions can be directed to the Office of Student Affairs at 504-865-3030. Loyola University is prepared to assist universities impacted by the destruction of Hurricane Irene, just as Loyola students were taken in by colleges all across the country following Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
