Marketing & Communications wins higher ed marketing awards

The work of Loyola University New Orleans Office of Marketing and Communications was recently recognized by the Higher Education Marketing Report in its 26th annual Educational Advertising Awards.
The office received a silver award for the university’s “Response to the BP/Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill” in the category of Total Public Relations Programs. The department earned merit awards for the “U.S. News Image Ad” in the category of Magazine Ads (single); the “L.U.N.O. Faculty/Staff Campaign” in the category of Internal Publication; and for “Loyola at a Glance President’s Report” in the category of Annual Report.
“Having my staff honored for their work by our higher education peers is very exciting and gratifying,” said Terrell Fisher, associate vice president of marketing and communications. “We work hard to be among the forefront of peers in our marketing and communications efforts for the university, and it is always nice to be recognized as such.”
