Symposium reviews new developments in Louisiana law

The Loyola Law Review presents “A Legislative Symposium: Recent Developments and Areas of Pending Change,” on Friday, April 1, from 1-4:30 p.m. at the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, Room 405. It is free and open to the public.
This year’s symposium will examine recent developments in Louisiana law as well as some areas where change is pending or arguably needed. The elite panel of civilian scholars and local practitioners will discuss highlights from the latest legislative session regarding changes to state law governing usufruct and taxation, and offer a glimpse into some major issues concerning navigable waterways and tort reform.
