Loyola University New Orleans’ Montage Fine and Performing Arts Series presents two free concerts to close out the fall season. Both events are in Roussel Performance Hall and open to the public.

On Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 7:30 p.m., the Loyola University Chorale and Chamber Singers, conducted by Meg Hulley Frazier, D.M.A., will present an evening of music featuring a wide range of songs, from Felix Mendelssohn’s “Heilig” and Samuel Barber’s American masterpiece “Reincarnations,” to “Blackbird” and “Eleanor Rigby” by The Beatles.

On Saturday, Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m., the Loyola Symphony Orchestra, directed by Jean Montès, D.M.A., and featuring several virtuosic soloists, will perform Nikolai Rimsky Korsakov’s “Russian Easter Festival Overture, Op. 36” and “Capriccio Espagnol, Op. 34.” The orchestra will also perform Joseph Haydn’s final symphony, “Symphony No. 104.”

During these events, free parking is available in the West Road Garage located on West Road and accessible from St. Charles Avenue.
