Inspector General hosts community forum on ethical government

New Orleans citizens are encouraged to become involved in advocating transparent, ethical and effective government by attending the Inspector General’s Community Forum on Tuesday, May 11 at 6:30 p.m. at Xavier University of Louisiana.
Inspector General Ed Quatrevaux will host the forum which will discuss the role of the Office of Inspector General and how citizens of New Orleans can play a part in fighting public fraud and waste. The forum takes place in the William and Mary McCaffrey Ballroom of the University Student Center, 1 Drexel Drive.
In addition to Quatrevaux, featured panelists include the newly appointed Independent Police Monitor Susan Hutson, New Orleans City Council President Arnie Fielkow, U.S. Attorney Jim Letten and Vice Chairman of the Ethics Review Board the Rev. Cornelius Tilton. OIG staff members will also be present and will take questions from the audience along with the panelists. A reception will follow.
