Moot Court hosts golf tourney fundraiser

The Loyola University New Orleans Moot Court Board will present its 8th Annual Moot Court Golf Tournament fundraiser on Friday, Nov. 5, at 8 a.m. in Audubon Park.
The discounted student and faculty rates are $300 for a team of four, and $80 for individual golfers, which includes greens fees, cart rental, T-shirt, a player’s gift, breakfast provided by Café du Monde and lunch. Lunch will feature dishes from various local restaurants. Food and drinks will also be served throughout the tournament.
Prizes will be given for closest to the hole, longest drive and 1st-3rd place teams. The hole-in-one prize is a Cadillac CTS donated by Levis Chevrolet of Slidell.
Non-golfers are invited to attend as well for the discounted price of $15 and enjoy all the wonderful food, drinks, sights and sounds. Non-golfers may even ride in the carts to accompany golfers as they play.
Raffles will be held and prizes include an iPad, a New Orleans Athletic Club membership, golf foursomes at Money Hill and English Turn, gift cards to more than 40 restaurants, including Creole Creamery, Atchafalaya, Bistro Daisy, Dick and Jenny’s, Rib Room, Rock ‘N Bowl, Fresco, and Slice. Individual raffle tickets are available for purchase for $10, or 5 for $45.
