Jennifer Schlotbom named assistant director of Loyola's Office of Marketing and Communications
Loyola press release - November 10, 2008
Loyola University New Orleans is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Schlotbom to assistant director of the Office of Marketing and Communications. She joins the team with more than eight years of marketing communication experience.
Schlotbom most recently was the marketing and recruiting coordinator for the Loyola Evening Division. Prior to her return to New Orleans in 2007, Schlotbom was the marketing communications associate at OrthoClear, Inc., a dental start up in San Francisco, where she contributed to the continuous improvement, effectiveness and efficiency of individual marketing initiatives as well as the overall marketing mix. Before that, she worked in a production capacity at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco.
In the newly created position of assistant director, Schlotbom will work directly with Terrell Fisher, assistant vice president of marketing and communications, to develop annual marketing plans and long-term visioning for assigned university groups, including appropriate data analyses and timetables on key issues and projects to support overall university objectives. This position is responsible for researching, coordinating and purchasing university media placements, and assisting with the development of strategies, advertising and promotional programs.
Schlotbom is a native of California and a graduate of Loyola University New Orleans’ School of Mass Communication. In her spare time, Schlotbom enjoys lending a hand to local nonprofits, travel and urban exploration. She is proud to call New Orleans home once again.
