Institutional Advancement staff promoted

(New Orleans)—Loyola University New Orleans Division of Institutional Advancement staff, Chris Wiseman, Ph.D., A’88, and Terrell F. Fisher, A'76, recently received promotions.

Wiseman has been promoted to the position of associate vice president for major gifts. Wiseman joined Loyola in 2004 as senior development officer for the College of Arts and Sciences. Previously, Wiseman worked as a teacher, director of campus ministry, and then director of development at Archbishop Hannan High School in Meraux, Louisiana. Wiseman graduated from Loyola with a bachelor’s degree in 1988 with a double major in philosophy and political science. He received his master’s degree in foreign affairs and his doctorate in government from University of Virginia.

Fisher has been promoted to the position of assistant vice president of marketing and communications. Fisher joined Loyola in 2006 as director of publications and marketing communications. Her experience encompasses over 25 years in sales, training, and marketing-related fields. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Loyola University New Orleans and a master’s degree in mass communications from Southern Methodist University.

The responsibilities of the Division of Institutional Advancement encompass all activities and programs undertaken by the institution to develop understanding and support among its various constituents. These activities include fund development, marketing communications, media relations, and alumni relations.
