Loyola College of Law U.S. News and World Report ranking

(New Orleans) Loyola University New Orleans College of Law ranked in the Third Tier of Americas Best Graduate Schools in the 2008 edition of U.S. News & World Report. According to the report, 100% of Loyolas College of Law graduates are employed nine months after graduation; of the other 35 schools in the tier, Loyola is the only school to have a 100% employment rate in that category.

Additionally, Loyola University New Orleans College of Law scored as one of the most diverse schools in America. The index is calculated using demographic data reflecting each law schools student body during the 20062007 academic year, including both full- and part-time students.

Each year, U.S. News ranks professional-school programs in business, education, engineering, law, and medicine. These rankings are based on two types of data: expert opinion about program quality and statistical indicators that measure the quality of a schools faculty, research, and students. The data comes from surveys of more than 1,200 programs and some 12,500 academics and professionals that were conducted in fall 2006.

Loyola University New Orleans is a Jesuit-Catholic institution with a total student enrollment of 4,724 including 800 law students.
