Sean Payton to Speak at Loyola’s Annual Business Luncheon

(New Orleans)— Loyola University New Orleans is pleased to announce that New Orleans Saints Head Coach and NFL Coach of the Year Sean Payton will be the speaker at the 22nd Annual Business Alumni Luncheon. The luncheon will be held on Monday, March 5, 2007 at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel.

Entering his 10th season in the NFL and 19th as a coach, Sean Payton was hired as the 14th head coach in Saints history on Jan. 18, 2006 after being a member of the Dallas Cowboys staff since 2003. Prior to joining the Cowboys in 2003, he was with the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles.

The alumni of the Joseph A. Butt, S.J., College of Business Administration gather at their annual luncheon to honor their colleagues who have made worthwhile contributions to the College of Business. Awards for alumnus of the year and young alumnus of the year will be presented at the luncheon. This year, the alumnus of the year is V.M. Wheeler, III, B’78. The young alumnus of the year is Percy Marchand, B’03.
