(New Orleans)— Loyola University New Orleans College of Law is offering a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service.

The VITA program will be held in room 113B of the Broadway Activity Center located at 501 Pine Street on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5-7 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. (with the exception of the Saturday and Monday before Mardi Gras and the Wednesday following Mardi Gras). The VITA Program begins on Monday, February 5 and continues through Saturday, April 14.

VITA volunteers will help all taxpayers, including those with special needs, persons with disabilities, non-English speaking persons, and older taxpayers in filling out basic Forms 1040, 1040A, and 1040EZ. VITA assistance is free and open to the public.
