International students present Caribbean Night fundraiser

Loyola press release - October 3, 2007

(New Orleans)—Enjoy Caribbean music, tropical drinks, and dancing at Caribbean Night, sponsored by the International Student Association (ISA) and the Center for International Education. The event will take place Friday, October 5, from 8 to 10 p.m. in the Underground, located in the basement of the Danna Student Center. This event is free and open to the public.

Caribbean Night will feature the latest Caribbean dance music and Caribbean drinks and give students a chance to mingle with individuals from a variety of countries. Donations will go toward the international student scholarship fund.

The ISA is an organization that works to foster cultural understanding on Loyola's campus. ISA sponsors both on-campus and off-campus activities that promote cultural diversity and encourage international students to learn about the rich cultural heritage of New Orleans and Louisiana through open forums, speakers, and film series.
