The Louisiana Department of Education will host a teacher job fair at Loyola University in New Orleans to provide opportunities for teachers who may have been displaced by hurricanes Katrina and Rita or other qualified candidates seeking employment. The job fair will take place in the St. Charles Room on Monday July 24, 2006 from 8:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. Several Louisiana public school districts including the Recovery School District will be in attendance to recruit certified and highly qualified teachers to fill vacancies. Parking is available on the Loyola University campus.
