(Colorado Springs, Colo.) Loyola University New Orleans Head Womens Basketball Coach DoBee Plaisance has been selected as trials court coach for USA Basketballs 2006 FIBA Americas U20 Championship For Women Team Trials.

The Wolfpack appeared in the NAIA National Championship Tournament for the first time in school history. In 2003-04, the 21-11 Wolfpack finished second in the GCAC Tournament and third in the regular season conference standings.

Between college coaching positions Plaisance coached seven seasons (1988-89 through 1994-95) at St. Martins Episcopal High School in Metairie, La., and for two New Orleans AAU teams, the Southern Belles (1992-2001) and the Dominos (1980-86 and 1988-92). She left St. Martins with a record of 148-33 (.818 winning percentage).

Winning state championships in 1993 and 1994, her squad was a perfect 36-0 in 1993.
