School of Law student Jennifer Newton was chosen to participate in a program initiated by the Florida Bar Foundation. The foundation hosts paid internships for first- and second-year law students through its Legal Services Summer Fellowships. Newton, a second-year student, will be working for Southern Legal Counsel. Since 1995, more than 250 students have been selected for the competitive fellowships, which allow students to work on real cases at foundation-funded legal aid organizations.
