(New Orleans)— Council District A candidates will hold an open forum on Monday, April 3 at 7 p.m. in Nunemaker Auditorium, Monroe Hall, third floor. Participating candidates include: Jay Batt, Sonia Gupta, Ray Landeche, Shelly Midura, David Nowak, Sal Palmisano, Stephen Saussy, and Tom Wagner.

News media questioners will be Lucy Bustamante, A’02, WWL-TV anchor, and David Meeks, city editor of The Times-Picayune. Issues to be covered during the forum include: preservation of neighborhoods, zoning, post-Katrina issues, and new councilman versus the incumbent, and general District A issues.

Parking on Loyola's campus will be open to the public after 5 p.m.
