2006 Mayoral runoff debate

Loyola will host the 2006 New Orleans mayoral runoff debate on Thursday, May 11, at 7 p.m., in Nunemaker Auditorium located in Monroe Hall on the university’s main campus. The debate is open to the public.
WVUE Fox 8 will televise the event live beginning at 7 p.m. Anchor John Snell, who is well-known for his lively and no-nonsense style, will moderate the debate. The debate will last one hour, followed by 30 minutes of questions from the audience.
The debate is sponsored by five nonpartisan groups who hope that such voter information will aid New Orleans voters when voting in the run-off election on May 20. The sponsors are the National Council of Jewish Women, Greater New Orleans Section; League of Women Voters of New Orleans; ACORN; Young Leadership Council and the Urban League of Greater New Orleans.
