Loyola University New Orleans Business and Law Colleges Named to Princeton Review’s 2007 “Best Of” Guides

(New Orleans) —Loyola University New Orleans College of Business and College of Law are among the nation’s most outstanding schools, according to The Princeton Review. Both colleges are featured in the New York-based education services company’s 2007 publications “Best 282 Business Schools” and “Best 170 Law Schools,” respectively.

According to Robert Franek, Princeton Review vice president of publishing, “We chose schools for this book based on our high regard for their academic programs and offerings, institutional data we collect from the schools, and the candid opinions of students attending them who rate and report on their campus experiences at the schools. We are pleased to recommend Loyola University New Orleans to readers of our book and users of our website as one of the best institutions they could attend to earn either a law or an MBA degree.”

The Princeton Review compiled the ranking lists based on its surveys of 17,000 students attending the 170 law schools and 18,000 students attending the 282 business schools profiled in the books, and on institutional data from the schools. The survey asked students 80 questions about themselves, their career plans, and their school’s academics, student body and campus life. The tallies of student survey-based ranking lists were based on surveys of students during the 2005 - 06, 2004 - 05 and 2003 - 04 academic years, primarily online at The Princeton Review’s student survey site (http://survey.review.com)

Both “Best 282 Business Schools” and “Best 170 Law Schools” feature two-page profiles of the schools with write-ups on their academics, student life and admissions, plus ratings for their academics, selectivity and career placement services. Lists are posted at www.PrincetonReview.com.

Loyola University New Orleans is a Jesuit-Catholic institution with a total student enrollment of 4,724 including 800 law students.
