Pro-Life Students from Across the Southeast Join at Loyola This Weekend

Loyola press release - October 25, 2006

(New Orleans)–Louisiana Students for Life will host the Southern Regional Pro-Life Conference at Loyola University New Orleans Saturday and Sunday, October 28 and 29. Registration will take place in room 112 of Miller Hall in the Joseph A. Butt, S.J., College of Business. The Rev. Kevin Wm. Wildes, S.J., will deliver the welcome.

The conference is designed to help students meet and network with other college, pro-life students throughout the Southeast. The two-day event will consist of a series of skill-oriented workshops to teach participants how to succeed in their pro-life activities on campus. In addition, participants will enjoy dinner and a pre-screening of the new motion picture film, Bella, which will be introduced by starring lead actor Eduardo Verástegui. The film’s subject of the need for support, love, and hope in a time of unplanned events connects to the premise of this year’s conference.

Louisiana Students for Life is a grassroots non-profit corporation that seeks to network, educate, and activate pro-life students on all colleges and universities in Louisiana and the greater Southeast.
