“I am humbled and honored to receive this award from the NAIA. This award goes to all at Loyola who worked tirelessly to get us up and running in January. I want to thank the LSU Athletic Department for all their help, while we were displaced. I also appreciate the confidence and support we received from the Loyola administration that made our return to campus a reality. I share this award with all our coaches and student athletes whose dedication and sacrifice allowed us to bring athletics back post Katrina,” stated Giorlando.
Giorlando was also named GCAC Athletic Director of the Year back in May.
