Liberace Foundation Awards Scholarship Grant to Loyola Student

(New Orleans)—The Liberace Foundation for the Performing and Creative Arts awarded a $2,000 scholarship grant to Gabriel B. Mañalac, II. Mañalac, a native of Gonzales, Louisiana, is a piano performance sophomore at Loyola University New Orleans.

Mañalac was selected unanimously by the piano faculty in Loyola’s College of Music. The Liberace Foundation for the Performing and Creative Arts scholarship grant is exclusively for scholarship assistance to talented and deserving students attending accredited institutions of higher learning offering degrees in either the creative or performing arts.

The Liberace Foundation has provided over $4 million in scholarship grants to more than 100 of the nation’s premier arts institutions and select local community organizations, according to the Liberace Foundation’s website.
