CBA ranked among best undergraduate business programs in the U.S.

Loyola press release - August 19, 2005

The College of Business Administration at Loyola University New Orleans was cited in the U.S. News & World Report’s 19th annual “America’s Best Colleges” issue as one of Best Undergraduate Business Programs for 2006. This is the third year in the past five years that the College of Business has been cited.

U.S. News surveyed deans and senior faculty at undergraduate business programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, the premiere accrediting agency for schools of business. Participants were asked to rate the quality of all programs they are familiar with on a scale of 1 (marginal) to 5 (distinguished). The rankings are based solely on this peer survey; 45 percent of those surveyed responded. Deans and faculty were also asked to nominate the best programs in specialty areas. The issue lists the top 150 undergraduate business programs in the United States.

The College of Business Administration prepares young men and women to become tomorrow’s business and community leaders. Its programs in accounting, economics, finance, international business, management, marketing and music business provide students the skills necessary to be successful in business. More importantly, the curriculum provides a value-centered education focusing on social responsibility and business ethics. Visit the College of Business Administration at cba.loyno.edu.
