The Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation oversees the Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship. The United States Department of State supports the fellowship program, which attracts students interested in working for the state department and trains them in the skills necessary to be a member of the American Foreign Service.
Students eligible for consideration of this award must demonstrate motivation, a strong commitment to academics, a financial need, and excellent leadership qualities. If selected as a recipient of the fellowship, Wojtkowska will attend an orientation in
The program funds the student’s tuition, room, board, books, and one round trip travel for their junior and senior years of college, and their first year of graduate school. Upon graduation, the student must focus on international studies at one of the eligible schools selected by the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation.
