MBA students win the BusinessWeek Student Case Writing Competition

MBA students at Loyola University New Orleans have won the BusinessWeek Student Case Writing Competition. The three students, Elizabeth Scott of Birmingham, AL; Mary Whitehouse of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; George Howard from Marblehead, MA; and their faculty adviser, Bank One/Francis Doyle Distinguished Professor of marketing, Caroline Fisher competed at a national level for this award.

A representative from BusinessWeek attended the MBA’s visiting committee on Friday, April 29, in the Lafayette Ballroom on the 2nd floor at the Ritz Carlton, 921 Canal Street. The representative presented each of the three students with a plaque and the students will present their winning projects.

The competition is sponsored by BusinessWeek in collaboration with McGraw-Hill Irwin and the Society for Case Research.
