Bateman team wins 1st place in national competition

The Loyola University New Orleans’ Public Relations Student Society of America Bateman Team won first place for their “Check Out My Ethics” campaign, designed to advance academic integrity on campus. Of the 225 PRSSA chapters nationwide, 63 teams completed entries. This is the fourth time Loyola has placed first. Loyola also won the competition in 1997, 2000, and 2003. The other two finalists were Illinois State University and Texas State University.
Members from the Loyola team are Jacqueline Bodet of Mobile, Ala.; Andrea Ganier of Jefferson, La.; Kristen Haro from Sacramento, Calif.; Kirby Scelfo of Franklin, La.; and Jessica Venezia from Davidsonville, Md.
