Loyola University senior chosen as a 2005 Mellon Fellowship Recipient

Loyola senior Katherine Morrow Jones, a classical studies major, was selected as a recipient for the 2005 Andrew W. Mellon Fellowship in Humanistic Studies. She was invited to Washington, D.C. and interviewed by the Woodrow Wilson Foundation.
The scholarship will pay for graduate school tuition and offer her a stipend for living expenses. Jones plans to pursue a doctorate program in classical studies.
Founded in 1945, the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation is an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to the encouragement of excellence in education through the identification of critical needs and the development of effective national programs to address them.
