Nominations for the Top 10 Senior Award due March 29

The Center for Student Leadership Development established the Top 10 Undergraduate Senior Awards as a way to recognize those students who were successful in their academic and student life endeavors. Focusing on the “whole person” is one of the tenets of a Jesuit education and, with the Top 10 Award; the recognition is given to those students who excel as both student leaders and student learners.

The balance of developing outside and inside the classroom while striving for excellence clearly demonstrates Loyola’s values of academic excellence, rich Jesuit tradition, and leadership development. These recipients of this year’s award will receive a commemorative Loyola University seal medallion, which will be worn during commencement, as well as recognition and an award plaque at the Twenty Third Annual Student Leadership Banquet held on April 27. Their biography and picture will be presented in the Summer 2005 Loyola University New Orleans Magazine.

Any member of the Loyola University community may make a nomination. Self-nominations are accepted. All nominations are due in the Student Affairs Office, Rm. 205 Danna Center no later than Tuesday, March 29, 2005. The nomination form is below or may be picked up in the Student Affairs Office.
