Loyola Reconnecting: Sharing Our Experiences and Hopes
All faculty and staff are invited to the Orleans Room for this event. As we come together to begin the spring semester, we need to reconnect with each other and re-form the Loyola community. Before we begin to help students deal with their experiences of the aftermath of Katrina, faculty and staff need to pay attention to ourselves and each other. This gathering will allow faculty and staff members to talk about their recent experiences, listen to each other’s stories, and articulate where we find hope. Fr. Kevin Wildes, S.J. will offer a brief reflection. Our conversations will flow into a prayer service rooted in our shared experiences and hopes.
Sponsored by the Jesuit Center, Center for Student Leadership Development, Counseling & Career Services Center and University Ministry. Refreshments of coffee, tea and hot chocolate will be available. We encourage you to continue your conversation over lunch which is a la carte.
