Loyola University to Host Eighteenth Annual Student Leadership Conference

Loyola University New Orleans is hosting the Eighteenth Annual Student Leadership Conference on Saturday, February 19, 2005. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Communications/Music Complex, first floor, and the conference will begin at 9:20 a.m.
Special Guest presenter is Percy Marchand, B'03, who currently serves as executive director of Community Awareness, Revitalization, and Enhancement Corporation (CARECorp, LLC), a non-profit organization servicing the needs of both the upper and lower sections of New Orleans, Ninth Ward, one of the city's most blighted and neglected areas. He will give a session on starting a minority owned business.
Last year over 450 college students from seven states attended this event on Loyola’s campus.

The conference is sponsored by Loyola’s Center for Student Leadership Development and the University Programming Board, and offers college students over 35 sessions on a variety of topics for the college student leader.
This conference is open to all college students. Registration is $20, which includes all materials, keynote, luncheon and reception. Registration for the conference can be made through the Student Affairs Office, Rm. 205, Joseph A. Danna Center. Please register by Monday, February 14, 2005 to avoid the late fee.
