Christina Ung, A’05, of Houston, Texas, was chosen as a finalist for the American Advertising Federation’s Most Promising Minority Students of 2005. The program connects the advertising industry’s recruiters with diverse and talented graduating advertising seniors. The number of students chosen to participate in the program has increased by 60 percent in the last two years, and it is currently the advertising industry’s largest diversity hiring program. This year’s 40 finalists representing 33 colleges and universities around the country will gather in New York City, February 8 – 10, where they will be honored at a luncheon. The students will also be given opportunities to learn more about the industry, network with advertising professionals, and possibly even set up job interviews.
