Paul Luif to speak at Loyola on March 25

Loyola University New Orleans will host guest speaker Paul Luif, an expert on the European Union, on Thursday, March 25, in the Monroe Library, Multimedia Room 2 at 4 p.m. Luif will discuss “European Security and the Development of the European Union.” The event is free and open to the public.
Luif, born in Burgenland, Austria, is a distinguished researcher at an Austrian think tank on the European Union. He has written extensively on European security, including numerous articles and six books.
Mary Johnston, a professor in the Department of Political Science, says, “I believe this subject has relevance to the New Orleans community for those interested in the emerging plans for Europe to have its own military capacity.”
