Hurricane Isidore - Latest Advisory
Loyola announcement - September 22, 2002
Hurricane Isidore continues to be a threat to the coastal United States. The possibility of a category 3 or greater hurricane coming near Metro New Orleans should be watched very carefully. It may be necessary to evacuate the city.
If you have not done so, complete YOUR EVACUATION PLANS. All Students are required to make evacuation plans. ALL Resident Students must complete the Hurricane Evacuation Form. It is your responsibility to complete evacuation plans and inform your RA.
It is advisable to evacuate north. Do not evacuate to another coastal city.
The University is open and classes will be held. Should the University close announcements will be made on the Loyola University Web Page, University E-mail and on the University Emergency Information Line x2186 (865-2186). The University is NOT an Emergency Shelter.
Please monitor the local weather channels (Weather Channel 18, or Local Channels 3, 7, 9, or 11). Keep yourself informed.
