City College Student Association Elections November 11th

Loyola announcement - October 28, 2002

Listed below are the names of candidates running for office for the City College Student Association. Their names are listed under the office for which they are running. Under the name of each candidate is a brief biography. The election will be held during the week of November 11th, 2002. Voting will occur in the foyer of Stallings Hall. The balloting will occur between the hours of 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. All on-campus City College students are eligible to vote.

Office of Vice-President

Name: Lynn Ekstrom
Biography: Lynn Ekstrom is a Senior at Loyola University. She is married and has two sons and one stepson. Lynn is currently the Associate Director of the CYO/Youth Ministry Office for the Archdiocese of New Orleans and focuses her ministry on sexuality education, youth leadership development and multicultural issues.

Name: Sharon Faulknor-McPherson
Biography: My name is Sharon Faulknor-McPherson and I am pursuing a Masters in Criminal Justice. I graduated from SUNO with a BS in Criminal Justice with a G.P.A. of 3.6. At SUNO I was an active member of the Criminal Justice Club and was elected president of the Spanish Club.

Name: Edreen Jackson-Gillard
Biography: I received my undergraduate degree from Southern University at New Orleans in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Accounting. I am employed at Campus Federal Credit Union as a Member Service Representative. Being elected will allow me to utilize my skills and to become more involved within my school.

Name: Carliss Victor
Biography: Carliss Victor is a Junior majoring in Human and Organizational Development. She works for three doctors, and has a five-year career goal of becoming an Administrative Assistant. She prefers detailed, high volume work, and when given a task, completes it in a timely fashion. She thanks you for your vote
