Loyola University College of Music presents Trane Tracks - A Tribute to John Coltrane with the Tony Dagradi Ensemble on March 8th

(New Orleans)—Loyola University New Orleans College of Music presents the final concert of the Jazz Underground series titled Trane Tracks-A Tribute to John Coltrane. The concert will feature the Tony Dagradi Ensemble. The concert is set for Thursday, March 8 at 7:30 p.m. in The Underground located in the basement of the Danna Center, the student union in the center of Loyola campus.

General admission is $10 and student admission is $5. Tickets and additional information are available through Loyola's ticket box office at 865-3492.

The concert will feature music of John Coltrane, one of the jazz world most gifted saxophonists. Saxophonist and Loyola music professor Dagradi's ensemble will include saxophonist Clarence Johnson III, bassist Roland Guerin, drummer Brian Blade, and pianist Jon Cowherd of the Brian Blade Fellowship.
